Camping Loire Atlantique

A little taster of your trip to Pornic

You could start with a walk in the old port and watch the fishing sailing boats come in, then continue on towards the very popular and lively Les Halles and Place du Marchix. Continue your visit along the upper town’s winding lanes, particularly near Bourg aux Moines, the former fishing area. If you are interested in coastal resort architecture, don’t miss the Gourmalon area, with its beautiful villas which are emblematic of the 19h century. One of Pornic’s unmissable sights is “Blue Beard’s Castle”. The castle is unfortunately private, so cannot be visited.

The campsite’s picks: exploring megalithic structures (Mousseaux tumulus and La Joselière dolmen), a guided tour of fishing huts, walking the coastal control path.
